Willow Tree is located on School Street in the heart of Hillmorton which is a short distance from Rugby Town centre and is linked with a regular bus service. The home is situated in its own grounds and each room enjoys a view from each window of either one of our gardens or wooded areas. Our home is within a short walk of a local shop which is happy to deliver your daily newspaper or magazine.  There is also a pub that welcomes our residents with easy access for wheelchairs to enjoy the social atmosphere in the local area of Hillmorton.

Our home enjoys a friendly atmosphere through both our units accommodating up to  47 Residents. One of our unique selling points is that 37 of our 44 rooms are on the ground floor. A number of them have doors opening into the grounds. We also actively encourage our residents to personalise them with their families.

Willow Tree has an open reception area with comfortable seating that residents and relatives can spend time meeting together.  Our nursing unit has a homely lounge with French doors overlooking the garden, a relaxing water feature and grassed lawn. It’s separate dining area allows residents to sit and enjoy other residents’ company while they have a pleasant dining experience. There is also a kitchenette that relatives are welcome to make drinks for themselves and their loved ones during their visits.

Our dementia unit has open plan lounge dining and opens onto a small court yard garden via the French doors enabling residents the freedom to move around independently or sit and engage with other residents. There is also a small cosy lounge that residents can have time in smaller groups if they wish. The beautiful gardens enables our residents to have free access to outside space. The home also works with students from Warwickshire College Princes Trust who have worked hard to make it feel more Dementia friendly.

We have a full-time activities person who works hard to plan the activities around the resident’s own hobbies and interests. They organise trips out as far as the safari park or barge trips throughout the year. The resident also enjoys services from the local church and visits from the local church community.

We also have strong community links from the local play group to other care homes where they join in with our residents on trips and entertainment.
