There are so many rules and regulations regarding government funding for care homes that make it extremely complicated, and it has been increasingly difficult for care homes to obtain assistance, especially with how the regulations are interpreted in different parts of the UK.

Although a lot of our residents fund their care privately, our team at Redwood will be able to assist you with making applications for funding from the government. We ensure we can offer our services to everyone, which is why we employ financial advisors to assist and offer expert advise our residents and their families when applying to stay with us.

Our financial advisors at Redwood Care are all accredited to SOLLA (Society of Later Life Advisors), specialising in offering financial advice for older people, as well as supervising the application for all government funding that is available.

Whilst it is not compulsory, we strongly advise all our prospective residents to seek financial advice whilst considering a residency with us at one of our Redwood care homes. We want our potential residents to know that Redwood Care provide a team of specialist financial advisor, whilst it’s important to know that we do not receive any payments or commission from them. Our goal is just to offer peace of mind and ensure our residents and their families are fully aware of funding options and finances.
