Respite Care

Respite care, better known as short term care, is something we provide at all of our Redwood Care residencies, for those who don’t require long term care. Commonly short term stays with us are needed for a period of restoration after an operation, illness or accident, we also permit the short term stays of people with carers that are on holiday and annual leave. Here at Redwood it is not unusual for our respite residents to decide to stay longer term or take up residency with us once they have experienced a short period of what we have to offer.

We treat our short term patients with the same level of dedication and support that we offer our long term residents. We maintain the highest standards of care and professionalism with our short term residents, and all of our respite residents are entitled to take advantage of the many benefits of living at a Redwood home, this includes our exceptional wellbeing and lifestyle activities, entertainment, events and trips.

We understand that respite residents can feel a little out of place when they first come over to Redwood, but there is no need to worry or panic, we recognise how important it is to get settled in, which is why we provide a dedicated team of friendly faces that value you and will get you settled in straight away.
